*Bellatrix Bed & breakfast for women is wheelchair accessible.
*Check -in is between 5pm and 7pm (17.00 – 19.00). Check -out time is midday (12.00)
*Shiatsu treatments available by appointment. Rita has completed an extensive training with a Japanese master. She has over 15 years experience working as a Shiatsu Therapist
*There are two walking weeks each year, walking women please check walking week programme for details.
*On a sunny day you can find a nice spot in the garden to relax. And if it’s raining you can curl up with a good book in front of the wood-burning stove.
*Walking weeks, horse riding weeks and photography weeks are being planned at the moment to offer different types of holidays for women in Ireland. Further information will be available at a later date.
*This is a no-smoking house (Sorry)
*We love pets but our cats Ruby and Balu don’t. Sorry, you will have to leave yours at home!
*Table- tennis – cross the language barrier through ping pong!
*We welcome mothers with their children and boys up to the age of 12. Reduced rates for children (25%)
*The tradition at Bellatrix is to meet up at 5pm for tea, coffee and a chat.
There is the possibility by arrangement to cook light evening meals.
*Volunteer programme on request (W.W.O.O.F. - World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms).
*We have some bicycles that you can borrow from time to time.
*The new wing of Bellatrix is open since the summer of 2008. |
