The holiday for walking women.
Programme for 2008August 23rd to August 30th 2008
It’s true what they say, Ireland really does have forty shades of green. When you join us at Bellatrix for our walking weeks, you will have an opportunity to find out just how true this statement is.
A great holiday for women!
We take our time walking through the mountains, we enjoy the rivers, the stones, the scenery and all the wonderful sights to be seen on the Peninsula.
We never miss the opportunity of a refreshing dip in the rock pools after a long walk. After walking on the Beara Peninsula for more than six years, we are still finding new and fascinating spots here.
Your eyes, ears and soul will feel refreshed after being out on a walk. There is a forest close by that is full of mystery and history. The Atlantic has also a particular energy. A whole day can go by while you encounter only sea, sky, cliffs and wild life. The experience will amaze and astonish you. There is also the option of having a day by bicycle if the group participants agree.
We will be outside every day but the weather will show us the right walks to take. Depending on the time of the year, we can also take a whale-watching trip at an extra cost of €50. The skipper, Colin Barnes is associated with 'Whale Watch Ireland' and has a particular talent for finding whales and dolphins.
